Hello All, As the subject states, I am wondering how large the uploads are with CPDN via BOINC. S@H varied from 2k - 30k P@H varied from 3k to 300k I believe trickles are around 100 bytes, but how large are completed WUs? Thanks, Scott |

A trickle is around 200 bytes, but the BOINC control information bumps the sched_request.xml file up to just under 4kb on my Win 2K box. There's a mega-trickle of about 1kb at the end of each phase (enough to generate the seasonal temperature and precipitation graphs) and the final upload is around 6Mb. <a href="http://www.teampicard.net"><img src="http://www.teampicard.net/templates/fisubice/images/phpbb2_logo.jpg"></a><a href="http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/team_display.php?teamid=3">Join us here</a> |

BOINC should be pretty much the same. <img src="http://boinc.mundayweb.com/cpdn/stats.php?userID=56&trans=off"> |

Good thing I have a nice fast Broadband connection :) (Uploads at around 20k/sec and downloads at approx 650 - 800k/sec) |
