Hi, I\'m running boinc on a linux machine (Kubuntu), dual Core (Intel D 820), 2 GB Ram. Teh project is attached correctly http://climateprediction.net. I can\'t establish comm to the server. See message box: Message from Server: platform not found. Calling boinc in a xterm session, it results in: Local control only allowed GUI RPC bind failed: -1 gstate_init() failed: -180 Anything known about the problem? Thanks for your help |

\"Platform not found\" means that you\'re running a Linux version that\'s not supported. Perhaps 64 bit Linux. In which case you need to install 32 bit progs and run this project under 32 bits Linux. |

They should start sending the 32bit version to 64bit clients at the next server upgrade. This assumes that you have a 5.9.x (5.10.x) client. ok, thanks. |
