Well I upgraded to BOINC 5.8.16, and I my manager showed that my CPDN was now done, and started downloading a new data set. It also left 1.5 GB of data files. Is there any way to recover and resume?

Ok, so I have now replaced my 5.8.16 BOINC directory with one from a backup a day ago. When the 2 projects I\'m running connected they generated a new host CPID. Any probelms with that, or am I still not going to get credit? I assume I should just merge the two machines in a day or so to clear things up a bit.

I\'m not sure you\'ll be able to merge the hosts as they display different CPU info. In any case, you should still get credited for the work and the science will be of value.

Thanks for the info. I\'ve got 63 days left to complete this work, then I\'ll see what I can do to get my hosts cleaned up.
