Hello Raven, With the (not so) new cut-off after 75 or so posts it\'s not that important any longer to start a new thread every 100 posts, but be it as it may be, here\'s my Invitation post (in german, as it\'s for a german team, but english or whatever other language speakers are invited to join as well, of course ;) Hallo liebe Mitrechner hier bei ClimatePrediction! SETI.Germany ist das größte deutsche Team beim wissenschaftlichen Projekt SETI@home, der Suche nach außerirdischer Intelligenz, durchgeführt an der Universität von Kalifornien, Berkeley. Auch weiterhin liegt ein Schwerpunkt in diesem Projekt, unter dem sich unser Team in Seticlassic-Zeiten formiert hat und seine Teambezeichnung fand. Neben Seti@home ist unser Team nun auch bei vielen anderen Projekten des Public Distributed Computing (Öffentliches Verteiltes Rechnen) unter dem Namen SETI.Germany vertreten und hat die 400 000 000 Credit-Grenze passiert! Die Themen der Projekte reichen von Astrophysik, Molekularbiologie, Chemie, Mathematik, Medizin, Rendering, Verschlüsselung und angewandter Informatik bis zum aktuellen Projekt hier ClimatePrediction. Auf unserer Webseite bieten wir weiterführende Informationen zu diesen Projekten u.a. in einem großen Forensystem .Das Angebot für unsere Mitglieder und Gäste umfasst außerdem eine Chatfunktion, eine ausführliche Performance-Statistik zu den meisten Projekten mit Seti.Germany-Beteiligung und mehr...  We are the biggest, oldest -established in 1999 as Scotland\'s Seti - and, we\'d like to think, best Scottish Boinc team around. [Accept no imitations!] We crunch for all the major Boinc projects and nearly all the minor ones. Our aim is to use our spare computing power to advance human knowledge while enjoying some friendly competition amongst ourselves and with other teams. So if you\'re Scottish by birth, ancestry, residence, emotional attachment or even if you\'ve no link whatsoever with Scotland but just fancy being part of a lively friendly team, please come join us, everyone is welcome. Hi Major Tom For your image links to work, there must be no spaces inside these tags [img] and [/img]. There must never be spaces inside any tag. If you repost and correct this, we can delete your original post where the links don\'t work. Cpdn news |

Hi Major TomThe \'broken\' links are the examples of how anyone can use the signature--if there\'s a \'no parse\' option I can repost w/out the spaces in the example tags and links, otherwise it\'s almost what I wanted it to look like. Thank you.

Technutopia Team members can submit their own image to use in the large signature. Calling all members of BOINC@AUSTRALIA! You may be aware that Aussie Assault 7 is due to begin (on 01 June) and will run until 14 June. The target is WCG - World Community Grid. This project actually crunches four separate causes:- 1) Fight Aids at home 2) Genome comparison 3) Human Proteome folding 4) Help cure Muscular Dystrophy WCG is slightly different to the other BOINC projects. If you have any difficulty attaching, check the team forum. Help is available! Join Poland because points crunched for Poland are double valued for climate change prevention. Why ? - because it\'s the the only significant polish team of rational ecological profile and probably the biggest one of such profile in the world, which promotes ecological education and eg will try to change household waste recycling behaviors. We need support of international crunchers in conquering better position for the team in crossproject statistics and therefore for these simple ideas of big value for all of us. |
