Hi, I started a new WU on my Intel Mac right after you launched the public Intel Mac app, and my machine has already submitted several trickles, but none have been acknowledged in my account. Is this a bug or simply a processing delay that will eventually resolve itself?

The two WU Result pages are:

In my BOINC Manager (version 5.8.17) I see that result the first WU above is already at 2.82% progress (thus two trickles already submitted) and the second WU is at 0.753% progress (no trickles yet).

I noticed a couple days ago that the messages tab did show that a trickle-up transaction for the first WU went through to your servers successfully.

The credit program only runs once a day now, because of the huge work load on the servers.
Even the trickles can take a while to show up on the list sometimes.

The best way to check is to work out how often the trickles upload, and then check the messages in the manager to see if one was successfullly uploaded at about that time.
There is also a place in your account that says when the last contact was made, so you can check this too, to see if it corresponds to what the manager message says.

All have been running in a fresh install of BOINC 5.8.17 since Thursday, 3.7% complete and according to the stdoutdae.txt log regular trickles are being sent. Last one (CDT = GMT-5):

I\'ve the same problem

none trickle is shown while there have been many send since last Tuesday!

Update: yes, this is still a problem. At this point those two WUs I quoted above are now at 7.9% and 2.9% complete, with 0 credits given for both, and no trickles acknowledged in my account\'s Web pages on cp.net. As far back as my messages tab shows (through last Friday) every trickle and the less-frequent file upload(s) went through successfully.

I wonder if this is the reverse of the problem I reported (and Tolu fixed) recently with the Beta app, in which the XML files that came with each WU were set to report results to the wrong server (in that case, the beta app was reporting to the \"live\" server). Maybe now the live WU is reporting to the Beta server, or some variation on this theme?

Hi, I just posted in the Message Boards/Number Crunching about this -- basically I had forgotten to add a line in the database to reflect this new version (hadcm3i, workunits hadcm3inct_*) -- I am manually running the stats programme so the credits should be up shortly; sorry about that!

Thanks, Carl. Just so we can see that the data we are sending is actually received. I had my doubts after I sent my fourth trickle without any acknowledgment from the project.
