I\'ve had climateprediction running for many months with no problems. Now suddenly a workunit gives above error after trying to upload a trickle..
Mandrake Linux x86_64 10.2. 2.6.18 kernel.
I have many gigabytes of free space on the disk and /home partition. I have Boinc options set to use 1000 gigabytes and 99% of available space.
??? any suggestions ?
thanks
Rod

The clue is here:
no space left on disk

and the answer is here in the News.

Basically, there\'s too many people uploading too much data, and the upload server keeps running out of space. A new raid system is on the way, which should hold things for a while.

We need the sort of storage that LucasFilm has. The computers wouldn\'t be bad either.

PS
As well as trickles, the model uplaods a big zip file of data every 10 years. This is what will be giving you problems. The trickle server is OK.

There\'s an update on this situation - a new 3 terabyte server has arrived at CPDN, and should be in operation by the end of the week (4th May or earlier).

I get this problem too. Should we just ignore it and wait until 4th May? Or should we abort the work units?

As the news link says, just wait and when the new server is installed, the .Zip files will upload.

Advice on the various possible workarounds here in the News thread - which is where we\'ll post updates on the situation:
