I\'m getting the following error message: 4/30/2007 8:20:53 AM|climateprediction.net|[file_xfer] Started upload of file hadcm3pbb_c4lb_05839898_1_3.zip 4/30/2007 8:22:31 AM|climateprediction.net|[error] Error on file upload: can\'t write file /home/boinc/data/hadcm3pbb_c4lb_05839898_1_3.zip: No space left on device 4/30/2007 8:22:31 AM|climateprediction.net|[file_xfer] Temporarily failed upload of hadcm3pbb_c4lb_05839898_1_3.zip: transient upload error 4/30/2007 8:22:31 AM|climateprediction.net|Backing off 1 hr 36 min 19 sec on upload of file hadcm3pbb_c4lb_05839898_1_3.zip BOINC is trying to upload a 4.97MB file for the past few days. I was using 5.4.11 when I first noticed the problem. I upgraded to 5.8.16 and still have the problem. Using a Dell Inspiron 9300 (Pentium M, 2.0GHz, Windows XP). Been running BOINC and Climate Prediction for over a year on it without a problem. I still have 19GB of hard drive space. I don\'t understand if the message is telling me that I don\'t have the space for the file, or the server doesn\'t. I have allocated the space I have to BOINC. The server status page doesn\'t show any problems. Help! |

There are a lot of messages about this, if you just read the forums. CPDN servers are full, they\'ve been trying and trying to find more room, and finally have received a new raid server the end of last week. They will have it up by the end of this week, so just let it roll, when the room is there, they will upload.

It WAS resolved, but there seems to be a re-occurrence. It\'s a public holiday in the UK on Monday, so it will be Tuesday there before Milo shows up. But he has \'alarms\' on various processes on the servers which email him of problems, and I\'ve also PMed him. Backups: Here |

This morning I was able to upload some of the trickles that have accumulated in the past two weeks, but near the end I got the same \'No space left on device\' message. Will wait for news on the new server :) |
