I have several computers runningdifferent projects. Each computer has the same email address associated with it. However I have different cross-project IDs. How do I get all the computers linked together?? |

There must be cross project pollination for this to happen. Example, 4 computers running 5 projects. C1 - P1, P2 C2 - P2, P3 C3 - P1, P4 C4 - P5 P5 will never get the same CPID. You need to mix and match to make sure there is some common between PCs and projects. |

Can I now go back and add the croos polination to the computers? Will the cross project number convert? |

You just need to make sure and connect machines commonly across all the projects, somehow. If you have one project off, just add one of the other projects you are crunching to it, then set no new tasks, let it crunch the units, return, and then you can detach from it. |

May I ask in here how you check your CPID? If you check it through BOINCStats.com, then do know that if you have a different nickname on any of the other projects using the same email address, that you can end up with multiple CPIDs as well. Or that all your projects are neatly shown under one CPID if you give the 2 (or more) nicknames to search on. divided by \'/\' marks. Jord. |
