I had to snooze BOINC last week whilst I was doing other work. When I wanted to re-start, I right-clicked on the task bar icon and clicked on snooze, but I cannot get the program running again. I have restarted the service and suspended and resumed the program in BOINC Manager with no effect. |

Hi Keith, There are a whole bunch of different snoozes and suspends, and frequently you\'ll find that you\'ve suspended via one, and tried to resume via another. * Snooze only suspends for an hour, so it should restart after that time. There are particular versions of the Boinc manager with bugs in this area. I\'ll go through the different suspends in order, and hopefully one of them will sort out your problem. * Manager / activity menu / \'run always / run according to prefs / suspend\'. Select either one of the two \'run\' options. * Manager / activity menu / Network activity : if network activity is also marked as \'suspend\', then this should probably also be changed to available. * Manager / Project tab : click once on the climateprediction.net project (to select it), and check the button on the left. If it reads \'resume\', click it. * Manager / work(tasks) tab: Click once on your climate model (to select it), and check the button on the left. If it reads \'resume\', click it. The best \'suspend\' to use is the one from the activity menu (note that suspending the model via the work tab can cause another model to be downloaded unexpectedly). I'm a volunteer and my views are my own. News and Announcements and FAQ |

Also, when \"Snooze\" is on, the word has a tick beside it in the menu. Thus, if you click on it when there\'s no tick, you turn it on again. Visit the Scotland team |
