I have been looking for information (without much luck) on the meaning of the graphs under the Statistics tab in Boinc...More specifically, I am trying to understand what the numbers on the y-axis account for (what are the units?)...Do the graphs (there\'s one for each project) simpily show the amount of work done per day??...

Yes.

These graphs are just an indication of the amount of processor time allocated to each project, so that people can adjust their priorities.
I don\'t bother with them myself, so I don\'t know where info about them might be. Perhaps on one of the BOINC FAQ sites.

Y axis is credit (RAC in the case of the \'average work done\' chart).

The link between credit and real work done can be a bit tenuous (some projects give higher or lower credit for the same amount of CPU time, but more to the point credit can be manipulated or inflated - which renders the whole concept of interproject credit worthless).

Note also that there can be a delay of 36 hours or more between using the CPU time and having the graph change.
I'm a volunteer and my views are my own.
