I\'ve tried downloading units on BOINC 4.05 (which crashed my computer, hence the upgrade to 4.06). The units download okay, but as soon as the processing starts, I get an immediate error.
I did detach, reset and re-attach the project, and a fresh unit just downloaded. And it did it again!

climateprediction.net - 2004-09-04 18:06:11 - Starting result 2s0u_000150939_0 using hadsm3 version 4.03
climateprediction.net - 2004-09-04 18:06:12 - Unrecoverable error for result 2s0u_000150939_0 ( - exit code -2 (0xfffffffe))
climateprediction.net - 2004-09-04 18:06:12 - Deferring communication with project for 1 minutes and 0 seconds
climateprediction.net - 2004-09-04 18:06:12 - Computation for result 2s0u_000150939 finished

What\'s happening, and will I ever be able to process units?

Hi, unfortunately Windows 98 and NT4 cannot be used to run CPDN, it seems to be dependencies of our Fortran compiler.

No they don't. It's an easy mistake to make, but I guess that's what comes from having 2 separate systems on a single webpage :(

<a href="http://www.climateprediction.net/info/tech_faq.php">http://www.climateprediction.net/info/tech_faq.php</a> gives the technical requirements for the CPDN classic program, which <b>does</b> run under 98 and NT 4.0.

The address for all the BOINC related pages start with <b>climateapps2</b>. Everything else is either common to both systems or specific to CPDN classic.
