Hi,

I was wondering if from getting this message :

Message from server: platform \'anonymous\' not found

means that the project isn\'t allowing anonymous platform computing? I\'m trying to get the Linux binaries to run on my FreeBSD system, and to do so for other projects we use the anonymous platform.

Thanks, Tuc

Sorry, no anonymous here.

Also, your 2 listed computers only have half the minimum recommended amount of ram.

If you go into your project preferences and select \'HadSM3\' (untick HadCM3), it should help with the memory problem. The slab models uses less memory than the coupled model.

Hi,

I don\'t know BOINC well enough to know why some projects offer anonymous, and some don\'t, but if it isn\'t offered then I guess a FreeBSD port using the Linux emulator is definitely out.

Sorry that you only saw 2 of the computers (They were just recent, the others haven\'t contacted in >30 days. I didn\'t know ANYTHING about BOINC originally and thought it would d/l to my system automatically back then). The others as you saw are multi CPU and multi Gig... The Linux computer was just added to see how the Linux did things to be able to create the FreeBSD port, so no hassles taking that one out. The Winderz machine I use it for a filler when the machine isn\'t doing the priority project I prefer, SETI. With the einstein and SHA-1 ports to FreeBSD (SHA-1 is waiting approval for the ports section) I have plenty of other filler projects, so I\'ll detach that project too.

I appreciate the quick replies!
