On two of my hosts, I only got client errors and no usable results. On one host, I have a wrong glibc version and on the other one, I don\'t know what the problem is. But I don\'t have the time to fix that right now.
I would like to delete these hosts from my account.
But whenever I click on \'Delete this host\' in the \'Computer summary\' page of that host, I get the following error:
\'Error: existing results\'

So, is it possible to delete these hosts? They never uploaded any useful informations I think...

You are unable to delete hosts once they have had an WU sent to the machine. By the sounds of it your hosts have, therefore you are unable to delete them hosts now.

Hi Kobel,

sorry for your troubles...
You can try a 'Reset project' which should download new files and perhaps fix the problem.

If not, i suggest to Detach from the project which should release your WUs so you can be propably able to delete mentioned host(s)

Hi Honza

I was able to delete one of the hosts after I detached it from the project (reset did not fix the problem).
But I'm still not able to delete the other one...

Regards
Markus

I have the same problem - except that the machine that I cannot delete is an NT4 box. Before RTFM I installed CPDN on two NT boxes, and was only able to delete one of the host records. If CPDN will not run on NT4, then I cannot have any results for that host, and this cannot be the reason I can't delete it.

I realize that it doesn't affect my stats, but it bothers me that I cannot get rid of a host that will never have any results.

I now also have this problem.
Switched from CPDN to SETI, so I 'unattached' from CPDN in the hope to release the work unit. The work unit (148965) has the same status as before: "Inactive, Unknown, New" (Suggesting it hasn't figured out it's dumped). Trying to delete the host then produces "Error: existing results".
