The hotkeys on the screen saver don\'t work for me and I want to be able to change what displays. So far all it does is show a stationary earth with the temperature changes. I want to at least make it able to rotate. I\'m running Windows XP Home, Intel Pentium D 3.00 GHz, 4GB RAM. Can anyone help me find the screen saver settings for this?

It\'s no longer possible to change the settings using the screen saver. It was found a long time back that this allowed a security hole in Windows, so the \"control\" key function was removed.

You need to change things in the standard display, which will then be reflected in the screen saver.
The settings are in climateprediction.net preferences, (near the bottom), in your Account on the server.

Note: to do this, change the settings, click Update prefs, then click Update in the Projects tab of your manager, and finally, reboot the computer.
I don\'t know why it\'s necessary to do this last step, but make sure that you Exit from BOINC before you shut down Windows.

In fact, ALWAYS Exit from BOINC before you shut down Windows.
It will prvent the model crashing because it didn\'t have time to save all of it\'s files before Windows shut down. :(
