Errm... which CPU is this on? Your P4 3GHz? Then it's normal, it may be your HyperThreading option that kicked in.

It is on both boxes and no it is not HT cause I can not turn HT on unless I do a complete reinstall of XP.

I have had a couple of times when the CPDN cruncher stopped crunching, or at least the cpu time and time to completion had stopped. This occurred right after I was auto detached from Predictor and Pirates, because both sites were down completely.... I had to shut BOINC down and restart and CPDN started crunching again, may be this is the cause.....

Hi!
I also have two of the but there is a slight diffrence in the names.
On is called hadsm3um_4.03_windows_intelx86 and this is the one running
(69 h 20 min) the other one is called hadsm3_4.03_windows_intelx86 and this one is not getting alot of cpu-time (5 min). Both have been there since I started the workunit and all seems to be as it should so I will just leave it as it is.

hi there should be a hadsm3_4* and a hadsm3um_4* running per each workunit. One is a "monitor" program that gets very little CPU time, just mainly makes sure the big climate model (hadsm3um = "um" for "Unified Model" which is the "parent" name of this model at the UK Met Office) hasn't crashed etc.
