Hi all, several days ago, I posted a message in the climateprediction forum (http://www.climateprediction.net/board/viewtopic.php?t=7893) about problems with model crash after sending the first trickle. I received solutions from other participants (increasing the shared memory segments as described in http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/forum_thread.php?id=5605) but the models still crash. To avoid the error message \"exited with zero status\" I stopped the sync. of the system clock with the apple homepage, because the error message appeared at regular intervals. The same message occures also in the other projects Rosetta and Einstein, but these applications are not crashing. Here are some additional informations: HostID:http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/results.php?hostid=831110 The computer is a iMac with Leopard installed (with latest updates), 2.4GHz cpu and 2GB of RAM. The crashed WU have the IDs: 6134040, 6134035 and 6134222. At the moment I stopped crunching for cpdn. Perhaps you have any further informations that could help solving the problem. http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/result.php?resultid=7320134 <core_client_version>5.10.34</core_client_version> Seem to be a lot of file-access related errors. Perhaps you might want to post in the http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dev/ forum which Charlie Fenton reads - he knows a lot about the Mac version of Boinc (mention his name in the post). I'm a volunteer and my views are my own. News and Announcements and FAQ |
