Ok I\'ve looked all over the forums and have found no-one with this problem [so far] Ok basically i turn off my pc every night [sure not the best for doing CPDN but meh] and when i turn it back on, the project suddenly thinks it\'s finished. I\'ve had this happen with most CPDN projects I\'ve run. When i turn my pc off they\'re at about 2% and when i turn it back on they start to \"resume\" then almost instantly go \"finished... waiting to upload\" My pc\'s specs [in case this helps] OS: Vista 64Bit ultimate CPU: Q6600 2.4GHz if you need any more info about it just ask. But yeah, it\'s quite annoying and any help would be appreciated |

Are you closing BOINC before you shutdown your PC? If not, that can be the cause of the behavior you\'re seeing. Vista can shutdown pretty fast and isn\'t all that nice at ensuring that the applications have exited cleanly before the shutdown. |

There is a section for Vista in the \'crashes and other problems\' readme (link in my signature) which might be worth having a look at. But Geophi\'s suggestion of shutting down Boinc prior to shutting down Vista itself will be sufficient to solve your problem :-) I'm a volunteer and my views are my own.
