Hi,
I want to ensure that when I finish running a climate model, a new one is not downloaded automatically. Is there any way to do that?

Looking at the preferences for BOINC should I tick the box that asks to confirm before connecting to the internet? Or would that prevent any trickle-up messages being sent as well? The other option i thought would be to change the value for caching additional work to zero...?

Thanks,
Henry

Just go to the Projects tab of the BOINC manager, click the project name, and then click the No new tasks button.

edit
You will, of course, have to manually \'complete\' the model, by clicking the Update button a few hours AFTER the model\'s last zip file is uploaded.

Excellent. I thought there must be an option somewhere, but was looking in the wrong place obviously!

Thanks
