I have regular trickles going up and my CPU time is climbing but the stats show no (or tiny) increase in time for the past several days. Before that (for about a month)I had a fairly linear increase. Any ideas. |

Both of your computers have only 1 processor, yet have 2 models, which will be alternating, thus slowing them down. And one of your computers is far too slow to give a realistic completion time for this project. And it barely has enough memory to run the operating system, let alone any programs. It will be spending most of it\'s time swapping data and programs back and forward between memory and the swap file on the hard disk. The minimum recommended amount of memory is 512Megs. So you need to add a lot more, or don\'t use it on this project. *************************** In another one of your posts you said that you had 4 gigs of ram. I can\'t see that on either of your computers. Backups: Here |

... another possibility is that the slab model on your XP machine has gone back to the beginning (i.e. 7295097). The slab models do sometimes have a problem when they start a new phase and restart - that model was just about to start phase 3. Is it still running? and what percentage progress is shown? Is the other model running? |
