Hi. How can I hide my computers in the account data? I see, that other users can hide parts or every information about the active computers. Thanks MaD |

Hi. Hi MaD To hide your computers, do the following. Log into your account page, and look for the Preferences section. Click View or edit on the second option, climateprediction.net preferences. On this preferences page, scroll down to the bottom and click Edit climateprediction.net preferences. You should now see an option labelled Should climateprediction.net show your computers on its web site?. Click the no option, and your computers will be hidden. Please note that if you have problems with your computer or models, people will find it much harder to help you with hidden computers, as they will be unable to see any specific information, and will therefore have to rely on generalities. Hope this helps Michael |

In addition to the above, also note that only you can see a lot of information about your own computers. If someone else looks at them (when not hidden), they\'ll only get basic information. For example, mine aren\'t hidden, but you won\'t be able to see the machine name, IP address, and so forth. I'm a volunteer and my views are my own. News and Announcements and FAQ |
