Whenever my computer is running climateprediction.net in BOINC, I just see an outline of the globe, with no activity. When I try to change the view to show temperature, etc., by hitting control and a key, it kicks me out of BOINC as soon as I hit control. Does anyone know how to avoid this? Is there any way to set the computer to show temperature, etc., through some setting (so as to avoid trying to do it while the model is running)?

That is a Windows issue during the screen saver.

To make your changes, you need to show graphics and do your changes, those changes will then show during the screen saver.

Although, the screen saver does take up computing time. Most people get a lot faster processing time without the screen saver being used.

Nope! I can get the graphics up and it works in the graphics window however the settings will not transfer to the screen saver
