I currently appear to have three outstanding tasks: 7376657 is currently ongoing and is almost finished 7329738 has no trickles and was stopped before it really started 7214505 has no trickles and was stopped before it really started Can you tell me if I can load either task 7329738 or task 7214505 on completion of the first task - 7376657 rather than take whatever the server decides to send me? My reason for asking is that I have 14 tasks listed but 10 have never finished for one reason or another. I have successfully completed 1 task and a second will complete very soon. It would be nice if the remaining 2 listed tasks could also be successfully completed. Thanks for your help |

There is no way to get missed tasks on CPDN. The servers sometimes hiccup on giving work and this will happen. We all have it. CPDN could turn the checking of lost units, but with the huge size it would not be very wise. This could cause their already overworked database to give more grief and no need for that. The work eventually gets done by someone. |

Charlie, Pooh Bear called it right. If it doesn\'t show in the boinc Manager\'s Task list, it no longer exists for you and can\'t be accessed. Looking thorough your Computer details and crashed Models, I\'m concerned about the machine\'s stability. Do you periodically blow the dust from heatsinks? Have you run stability tests? Updated the graphics driver?
