I really just want clarification that what I have done is safe and correct...

The automatic defrag option in diskeeper 2007 seems to take second place to Boinc when grabbing spare cpu cycles. It simply doesn\'t work when boinc is running. Fair enough.

In order to allow diskkeeper to do its job I set the preference to allow boinc to run between midnight and 23:30 everyday. That leave half an hour for diskkeeper. See picture:



Is this set correctly and will it interfer with any zip uploads or bionc operations?

Looks good to me ...

Note that the time limits are quite clever:

02:00 to 14:00 would run BOINC between 2 AM and 2 PM and stop it otherwise

14:00 to 02:00 would stop BOINC between 2 AM and 2 PM and run it otherwise
