i have 8 boinc projects, and lately when i leave my computer on, and come back to it after several hours, it has frozen while on Cpdn, it does not freeze during any other project, or during any computing when im using it.... what should i do about this |

By \"freezing\", do you mean that boinc doesn\'t allow other projects to run? Or that processing stops? If the former, it\'s boinc doing its thing, managing the resource according to your settings for your projects --> relative weighting. Another possibility is that boinc thinks your CPDN Model won\'t finish before the deadline if it isn\'t given all the time -- in which case, the other projects will be \"paid back\" when CPDN\'s Model finishes. Or, do you mean that the Model runs very slowly? In which case, does the temperature globe, in Graphics, show all blue? i mean that the computer freezes and has to be reset/turned off. |

That\'s an anomaly I haven\'t encountered. Given that CPDN drives machines rather hard, is it overclocked? Been cleared of dust recently? Further, given the large number of machines which don\'t encounter that problem, we must, I think, start with the hardware. HWMonitor will show temperatures (and Everest, though older, should work okay on your machine). Please let us know what you find.
