So far as I can tell there is no way to contact anyone, anywhere, via email if I have a problem. ( wotht he experitment and model) but I am forced to post and hope a person with authority notices it. The contact support is a webring. impossoble to contact and impossible to leave. If i wanted to mention my experiment wanted to stop workign, for example/ or if i kept getting a main servers are down call again later message for the first time in 5 years. ubless of course it\'s some sort of club that i wandered into and should never have been let into? |

There\'s just 2 people who work on the project on a daily basis; the others are only involved with devising experiments, teaching, etc. Which is why there are moderators, who constantly monitor all of the boards, not just here, but also on the other sub-projects. As well as this, there\'s a lot of experienced crunchers who also look at the boards. ALL of us can and do answer questions, as you can clearly see by looking at other threads here. If something happens that needs the attention of the core team, then a message gets passed to them. So, what\'s you\'re current problem? Backups: Here |

When I post a question, people here reply very quickly - not only mods, but also other people crunching the experiment. |

Hi Kevin, welcome to the forum. Whenever there\'s a problem with the CPDN servers we post about it as soon as we\'re sure what\'s happening and everyone can read about it in the forum News thread which is at the top of the Number Crunching section. There\'s a BOINC facility to contact volunteer helpers by Skype or email in lots of languages. I was going to give you a link to that but the BOINC server seems to be down.... However, you\'re more likely to find people who know plenty about CPDN models on this project forum. If anyone has a problem that entails a private or security issue they can send a private message to one of the moderators. In general though it\'s best if problems are discussed on the forum because this allows us all to learn from each other. Cpdn news |
