I noticed that no work was being done. I looked at messages and found \"2009-01-07 09:25||[error] Can\'t create HTTP response output file projects/climateprediction.net/hadsm3mh_6.02_windows_intelx86.exe\". I detached/reattached to project--same problem. I uninstalled and reinstalled boinc--same problem. |

Hi Walter It\'s probably a permissions issue. Check to see if BOINC has read/write permission in that folder. Backups: Here |

What flavour of Windows and what version of BOINC are you running? If it\'s Vista with BOINC version < 6 installed to the default location (C:\\Program Files\\BOINC) Vista\'s protected application execution will block all attempts by programs to create files under C:\\Program Files. If that\'s the case you\'ll either need to install the latest advised version of BOINC (6.2.19 for CPDN) or install the version you\'re using with a different base directory.
