Looking at this WU (http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/workunit.php?wuid=6764085 ), I see my machine is not the only one having trouble with it (my machine is 1028859).

Where\'s the problem? I know my box (which has yet to do any WU successfully, but then I\'m on BOINC since Nov 20th only) \"finishes\" WUs in seconds; so, the error is not in then end of post-processing, but right at the beginning.

On the crashed result page for your task, there is a stderr entry that has \"Could not launch model process\". This may be a permissions problem. Another user on the other forum had a similar problem. Start reading at this post. You might want to detach that computer from climateprediction.net and then reattach. It appeared to work for owdjim in that thread.

I tried the detach... and now I can\'t re-attach. Doesn\'t like my email/password. Even though I can log into the website no problem.

I suspect it doesn\'t like a \"+\" in my email address, as I noticed that it had replaced it with a space in my account info (the previous one, that is, before I changed it to the same address I use on all other BOINC projects).

Well, so much for contributing to cpdn. Looks like it won\'t happen after all.

That\'s a nuisance.

When you try to reattach again say you\'re an existing member, not a new member, and use exactly the same email address as you use for all your other Boinc projects. That should be the same email address that the CPDN server already has.
