I have been trying to get new work for the past week or two and just get the message \"No work available for the applications you have selected. Please check your settings on the web site.\" I run BOINC projects on a MacBook with Snow Leopard. Two other projects are getting work with no problems. Any ideas? |

Check the climateprediction.net preferences section of your account pages. At the moment, the only tasks available are \"HadSM3 Slab Model\" and \"HADAM3P\" - make sure that one or both of those show as \'selected\'. There is work available for both at the moment, and they should run on OS X. At other projects, you may be used to seeing an option for \"If no work for selected applications is available, accept work from other applications?\". Unfortunately, that option is not available in the older version of the server software in use here, so you have to make the selections yourself. |

Thanks. Selecting more model types fixed the problem. I assumed, incorrectly, that saying I preferred a particular model would not exclude the others when my preference was not available. Thanks again. |
