Hi all. I have only one PC and after reinstalling boinc and reconnected to BAM i find 2 hostid\'s as you can see in http://www.boincitaly.org/images/fbfiles/images/screenshot_001.png (is a almost fist shot after reinstallation, now i notice in \"Credits last day\" column 0 for hid:206111 and 1279 for the new hid:223351 ) some there(http://boincstats.boincstats.com/forum/forum_thread.php?id=5498) say me \"CPIDs are created and handled by the projects and only by the projects, BAM! doesn\'t do anything in this regard. I only seems to be the case that the projects sometimes mistake the same computer for a new one once he\'s connected to BAM!, or once it\'s BOINC is updated, or for other reasons. Only way to get rid of this: Go to each projects account page and either merge or delete obsolete hosts.\" What can i do on purpose? TIA |

Your CPDN account is currently showing only one computer (here) - so it looks like a BAM problem. If you have indeed merged an old computer into a new one then perhaps BAM just has to wait for the daily (?) XML files to be re-exported by CPDN. If, on the other hand, your two BAM host ids correspond to different accounts here (i.e. different e-mail supplied on attaching to the project) then nothing can be done to merge those: only \'identical\' computers on a single account can be merged. |

Ragard BAM i still see: BAM ID Host name Client version Last contacted BAM Credits last day 206111 harrysas 6.10.36 2010-05-11 / 14:05:56 0 Detailed stats 223351 harrysas 6.10.17 2010-05-17 / 16:14:52 784 Detailed stats If, on the other hand, your two BAM host ids correspond to different accounts here (i.e. different e-mail supplied on attaching to the project) then nothing can be done to merge those: only \'identical\' computers on a single account can be merged. No definitely that\'s not my case. I\'m sure :-) Thanks for your Reply |
