How do I edit my climateprediction.net preferences? I see no "edit preferences" link - while there is a link under computer preferences. I do have only 32 credits of RAC (65,843 total).

Hi Bill, welcome to the forum

In your account (I see my own there, you see yours) there are 3 sections in Preferences. The third is climateprediction preferences. Click on it to open the page. Near the bottom of that is a link saying Edit preferences. Click on it. Change what you want, then press the Submit button.

You'll now see a page telling you to update climateprediction. Do this in the Projects tab of your Boinc manager. Click on climateprediction to highlight it, then press the Update button. This will immediately tell the server what your new preferences are.

Thanks for your quick response.
That's the problem I have - there is no Edit preferences link on the climateprediction.net preferences page (actually, I've been a member for several years - the link's always been there before).

Near the bottom of my climateprediction preferences page underneath the map it says:

Europe lat-lon
Southern Africa lat-lon
Pacific North West lat-lon

Edit climateprediction.net preferences [which is the link]

Add separate preferences for home
Add separate preferences for school
Add separate preferences for work



in that order. So the editing link isn't right at the bottom. Are you sure you haven't missed it?

Thanx. That did it.
Though I could swear I'd look there before, and didn't see it (that whole map thing didn't exist the last time I visited the preferences page).

The map's new since the launch of the regional models. And one would really expect the Edit preferences link to be at the very bottom.
