Ubergang is "transition", so uberganger should be "transitioner" (in so far as "transitioner" isn't a real English word anyway). The BOINC term Transitioner has no translation. The german language knows the word Transition, so someone or something that does a transition is a transitioner. If you want to translate transitioner into a "real" german word, you will become problems, because there is simply no single word that could describe what the transitioner does. -------- KEINE PANIK |
