Following PSU failure which also took out the integral sound card, extensive reloading of info on the hard drives was undertaken. The two models underway before failure are still shown as "in progress" but cannot be coaxed into life. They are hadam3p_eu_j52p_2009_1_008498422_0 & hadcm3n_oav3_1900_40_008469202_2. The latter was within 7% of completion. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. |

Any clues from looking at the graphics for the models? Does time elapsed increase? What is CPU usage when both models are allegedly running? No answers I am afraid but the answers to these questions may help someone wiser than I. |

Neither model appears on the Task tab of BOINC Manager, so no graphics, no time elapsed info, no relevant CPU activity, in short, no nothing! My computer illiteracy offers no salvation, I'm afraid. I assume recourse may be to go into the various log files, but I haven't a clue which, or even if. |

If the models are not in your Tasks tab of boinc manager, without the models backed up before the computer failure, and reloaded on your hard drive afterward, they are unfortunately gone. |

Just had to do a system restore. I backed up the BOINC file from the program files, and replaced it after the restore, but I am not finding the Project. Any suggestions? |

Hello Linda By BOINC file I hope that you mean: "the BOINC folder, all of it's contents, and all of the folders under it, together with all of their contents". Other wise you've lost everything except BOINC itself. The location of the two parts of BOINC are described in this FAQ: BOINC 7.0 Backups: Here |
