Looks like we've got us a little bit of civil war here in the USA. In the United States 18 states have filed petitions to secede from the union. Most of those have passed laws stating that this state is actively in opposition to Obamacare and some other environmental laws. This is real. I live in one of those states - Oklahoma. I'm not sure who I support at this moment, seeing as how my rights are violated every day by some of the five police agencies we have here in my county. Those are Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Comanche County Sheriff, Lawton Police Department, Military Police Fort Sill, and Kiowa-Comanche-Apache Tribal Police. The OHP and the KCA tribal police are the only ones who haven't ever violated some part of my rights.

Sounds like it�s crackpot time in Comanche County. The person who posted above seems to think that he is being picked on by everybody. Ten to one he is not a big fan of gun control laws either. Next thing you know he will think that the Klingon�s are after him.

The truth is, the fact that 18 State Legislatures (no doubt all with Republican Party majorities) have passed laws stating that they are in opposed to �Obama Care� is meaningless. �Obama Care� (real name �The Affordable Health Care Act�) is a Federal law. As such it trumps all State and local laws.

You would think that these people would have gotten this by now. This matter of Federal v. State jurisdiction was settled back in 1865 at the conclusion of the real American Civil War.

I am as mystified as you are as to why she would post here. At least it is in the "Cafe" which is for post not strictly about the project.

The real question is why this project at all. People who hold these extreme anit-Federal government and anti-police view points usually seem to believe that global warming is some kind of sinister hoax perpetrated by radical eco-freaks for some unfathomable reason.

Why here, is a moot point, but possibly due to most Americans not understanding that the world outside of the USA is completely different.

We had problems some years ago with 3 American posters on the old php board who had the idea that the rest of the world should take sides in the politics of American elections.

However, in the present case, the consensus of the moderators is that we would like this thread to just die out, with no further posts.
