I don't know if this is platform-specific. I have two completed climateprediction.net tasks. They were completed a couple of days ago, and have tried uploading the results, but they keep going back to Transfers status "Upload: Retry in XXX". I have pressed the Retry Now button about 4 or 5 times since I noticed that they had completed and were scheduled to retry the upload, without success. Each time that I press the button, or the completed tasks are automatically uploaded, the upload of each of the two tasks looks like it is progressing well (and takes about 10 minutes because most people have ADSL not broadband internet in Australia), but shortly after it reaches Progress of 100%, it goes back to Transfers status "Upload: Retry in XXX". Here's a screenshot of the completed tasks in BOINC Manager |

If the tasks are hadam3p_eu and it is 13.zip files that are stuck then it is not platform specific, but, system wide problem. One of the upload servers needs to be remounted again. |

Yes they were hadam3p_eu tasks, and when I checked yesterday morning they were gone, so it's all hunky-dory again. Thanks for the info. |

I have a similar problem, although my system is Windows 7 based. I have 16 uploads ready, they have been on the transfers screen all day and continue to indicate project backoff. I know our internet connection is OK because we are using it for other stuff. Rick |

Hello Rick Yes, that's a known problem, possibly due to the work that was being done for the past three weeks. There's a thread about the upload problem in the Number crunching section. |
