While I appreciate you might not want to do it for obvious reasons, it would also be useful if you could publish rolling figures on how many WUs for each platform you have put out for each platform in the previous 365 days, so that your supporters can properly manage their expectations

The server Status page layout uses the latest version of the BOINC server code which is standard across most projects. (World Community Grid before they went off air for their migration process used a heavily modified version and a couple of other projects I believe also use modified versions.) I suspect that most projects do not have the time for modifying the code to be a priority. Certainly CPDN doesn't have the staff time to make it a priority even if they felt their was a need for it which I suspect those responsible in Oxford don't. The best way to keep up to date with new batches of work, their hardware requirements and what platforms they run on is the forums. It is rare for a new batch to be released without one of the moderators posting about it on the same day. A couple of times it hasn't been till the following day.

For Windows, your options are the Weather at Home 2 (WAH) workunits, or UK Met Office Coupled Model Full Resolution Ocean. Everything else is Linux only, with the exception of UK Met Office HadCM3 short, which is currently 32-bit MacOS only - a bunch of us were running VMs to help chew on those, because they don't run on modern MacOS platforms (they're 64-bit only).

If you have Windows machines and want to help with the Linux tasks, you can either install a Linux VM and the proper libraries, or try using the Windows Subsystem for Linux: https://www.cpdn.org/forum_thread.php?id=9025

Be aware that the Linux tasks are very long running (a week or two per task), and do not like being suspended - they pretty much need to run straight through, or they're likely to crash. So you need a machine that can dedicate that sort of time to the tasks. If you have a VM, suspending and resuming the VM, not the tasks, should work as well, and sleep doesn't bother the tasks either.

I strongly suspect the Coupled Model Full Resolution Ocean tasks won't be seen again and their job will be done by more recent model types in the future.
