Hi Climateprediction,

I recently decided to help you guys and run your softward on my brand new Dell laptop!
I created an account and then downloaded the software to my desktop, so far so good. The problem is though when I click on the software installation icon, it seems to unpack the installation program, then that is it, nothing else happens!! No installation program starts or anything!
When I eventually shut down my computer, just before the desktop closes down, I can briefly see your programs installation program appearing on the screen!! Then obviously my computer shuts down normally. What the hell is going on?? I would really love to run your software, but until I can actually load it, I have no chance of helping out. I have installed lots of stuff on my computer and have had no problems with any of them, except your product. I tried to install the BOINC software a month ago, and I had tried again today, hoping it would work this time, but the exact same thing happened. Please help! I am running Windows XP Home Edition. My laptop is a brand new Dell Inspiron 1150. Thank you for your help and I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Spencer Luxford

If you've installed the BOINC client software, click on the B icon on the desktop and then select "Setting " on the menu and "Attach to Project".
Enter your account key and project url from the email.
