For geoengineering to be a cause of any global climate issues it has to be actually happening. But since it is currently only being studied it cannot be a cause unless you are a conspiracy theorist who thinks it's happening in secret. Discussions about reports of secret knowledge are inherently problematic, and no sensible discussion is usually possible.

The links provided are rather old, though I suspect the conclusions haven't changed much. A great deal of new work has been done in a number of places, including based on simulations run by volunteers to this site (e.g. Solar-Radiation Management). (Not including me, I should add, since I object to geoengineering on principle.)
