There's 3 possibilities:

1) The non alpha-numeric at the start of the name.
2) You're trying to do this via BAM. Several things here don't work when used via BAM.
3) Some "creation" functions have been disabled due to spammers.

As the summary illustrates, 3 of 4 projects accept the team name. This project, joined within the last year, does not. Tried to enter the team name through this site (http://climateapps2.oerc.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/team_search.php)

This project is different to most others in many ways.
