Hi, on my machine, running CPDN, I discovered a file in: C:\\WINDOWS\\Temp\\hsperfdata_SYSTEM The file is called 1636. Interesting is, that only system-account may access this file. A search on the net brought up the information, that this may come from JAVA ... The TimeStamp from this file looks, as if it would come from time, I installed CPDN ... So, my question: Does this file have something to do with CPDN ? If so, why isn\'t it located in BOINC-folder ? |

it's not from us, and CPDN is Java-free! :-) |

Hey Carl, thanks for this fast feedback :-) But let me ask you one question: Are you sitting the whole day in front of the boinc-servers ? Your Answers are so fast, that is very impressive :-)) |

Your Answers are so fast, that is very impressive :-)) HA, not quite so bad, I actually went for a nice long walk around Oxford (the Thames & Cherwell paths & University Parks), then stopped at the Pitt-Rivers Museum (a great, huge Victorian-era museum next to where we work at AOPP, but which I haven't been in awhile). I'm just catching up on some things now and making sure nothing horrible has happened! |
