They are having problems with the credit script because of the size of the database. They are working on it, and eventually, credits will be granted. It's been over a month though since it was last run.

The ‘validation pending’ number is stil increasing.

Sadly nothing on the email list where I might hear of something. I suspect the first we hear of it might be when it happens.

And after 10 years of not getting any new work it is finally coming in again, but everything fails.

‘validation pending’ is a meaningless message in this project.
It's for those projects that run the same data on 2 computers and compare the results.

Here, every task is run standalone.
The only time that a task gets run twice, is when it first off crashes on the first computer to run it.

Speaking of which, when you shut down your computer, do you first of all Suspend each task, wait a few seconds for the many files to close, and THEN turn off the power?
These programs are from the UK Met Office, and are designed to run continuously, and not get stopped and started at random.

And the same applies to NOT letting Windows shut it down without warning to do an update.
