This project reports that my device doesn't have enough disk space to perform the work. It reports that I need ~1 GB of free disk space and yet my OS reports that I have ~74 GB of available disk space on the drive to which BOINC is installed. Any way around this? |

Have you checked the settings in the Boinc Manager? There are 2 settings under “options” and computing preferences” that allows you to set how much of your hard drive you wish to allow Boinc to use. What are they set at? |

Have you checked the settings in the Boinc Manager? Specifically go to options-Computing preferences - disk and memory. The here are actually three settings. 1. Use no more than x GB. I leave this one unchecked. 2. Leave at least x GB Free. (10GB on my boxes.) 3. Use no more than x% of total. I can't remember what the defaults are but I know that on one machine which only had quite a small ssd (bought when anything other than a small one cost an arm and a leg) and I ran into the same problem with the default settings. |
