I have units that have been waiting to upload for weeks, and no new units downloading. Other boinc projects are working fine. I see other threads with this same problem, it looks like a bug to me.

Could you cut and paste some of the messages in the boinc manager event log related to them trying to upload? The only task on your 4790 that hasn't trickled in the last couple days is this one https://www.cpdn.org/cpdnboinc/result.php?resultid=21242972

Your 7900X has downloaded a lot in the last two days.

The machine is the one called DESKTOP-CDR63DL in the list, however I have renamed this computer some time ago. Could this be the problem?

I can't see the names you've given the computers, only the CPU type and stats. I'm assuming it's the i7 4790?

Whatever broke broke recently since there are trickles from a few of that computer's tasks up to September 6th.

In boinc manager, if you go to the projects tab and click on climateprediction.net and then click on the properties button, what does it say for the URL of cpdn?

I'm assuming that this URL

http://ithaqua.oerc.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/

which was temporarily used when the main cpdn server was being reconstructed, is not available anymore?

I'm not sure how to proceed with your current tasks. Perhaps someone else will come along with better advice. However, I would set no new tasks on project climateprediction.net, then when you've resolved this issue, one way or the other, detach from climateprediction.net, then reattach with the URL

Yes, ithaqua was the old backup server, which was pressed into service as a temporary main server while the IT people tried to fix the big mess.

Any tasks downloaded from it had to be returned while it was still running.
And it's no longer available.
May not even physically exist anymore.

It may be a question for Andy.

For the moment, don't touch ANYTHING Leon. Especially Big Red Buttons. :)

Oki doki, have set no new tasks, duck taped the big red buttons and eagerly await a reply. Thanks.

Nothing on the email list it was sent to. They are probably concentrating on the current download server problem which is affecting everyone.

The two wah2_global_ models listed for your machine have indeed been waiting a long time to be marked as finished: the last trickles were submitted in April. In the "Transfers" tab of BOINC Manager are there Zips still waiting to upload or is it just the marking as complete that is still to happen?

There aren't any models available to download at the moment. That's the same for everyone so there's no reason to suppose your PC has any particular problem.

I haven't had your tasks download since before 7/20/19 even though this project has been assigned a resource share in BOINC that is higher than all other projects. Other projects are working fine. Your server page is showing tasks ready to send from the server. What info do I need to post to fix?

If you mean the 53 posts ready to send, that is an anomaly. If you look lower down under the different task types yo will see there aren't any.

There was a batch of 500 tasks went out this week but there was a server problem that won't be fixed till Andy is back next week. By then with luck, there should also be bunch of Linux tasks.

Edit:Beaten to it by Les.
