I requested a Team Foundership Change for Team England (Boinc) on the 2nd November 2018.

The deadline for this expired today - but after 2 months with a Deferred status it has now reverted back to Initiate Request, which I have done (again).

This means another 60 days of waiting, knowing full well that the original founder is not active/contactable.

Can anything be done about this, or do I just have to wait until the 2nd March..??
Thanks.

An answer on this may need a moderator to email the project. Hilary term at Oxford doesn't start till the 13th so some staff will not be back till just before then so please be patient.

No problem, thanks for letting me know.

(I am endeavouring to update our team page on numerous projects, so I have plenty to be going on with).

Sounds like this isn't the only slow project to respond! I haven't had a response from the project on another matter but if you have no response by the time I do get something back I will email them. - It may be that the moderators have access to do something on this, if so you will probably get a quicker response.

This has been passed on to those who can do something about it. It looks like Team founder is one of those whose details etc have been removed after several years of inactivity. Oxford IT have in the last year upped security a lot which may have stopped an automated email going to you about this and one of the moderators has flagged this potential problem so hopefully Andy will pick this up soon.

Thanks for the update, much appreciated.

Our team has a lot of users who are no longer active, so there's a fair bit of "pruning" to be done....

(Sadly this applies to a number of other Boinc projects we've participated in over the years).

Also, I'm not receiving an email when this thread is updated, even though I've subscribed to it.
I just happened to check the message boards a few minutes ago and noticed your reply.

On your Account page, under "Community preferences", top section labelled "Notifications", which of the 3 options do you have selected?

Actually, I think that this may be another case of the block on emails imposed by the tightened IT security measures.

I've sent an email, but I don't know when the relevant people will be back.

I only had the top option ticked, have now changed it to email.
Thanks for the pointer.

I pinged you a PM with the relevant User Ids etc, did you receive it?
Thanks.

Andy says that this is fixed, although I don't see any difference on the team page.

Nope, nothing's changed as far as I can see... does anything have to update/replicate overnight ?

I wondered about "an overnight wait". Or perhaps the old Reboot. I don't think that they'll do that to the server though.

I'll email Andy again.

It may be something that happens at the same time as the weekly credit update?

Hopefully that's just your original request, that's shown up since Andy fixed the problems.

I'll send another email.

It's OK, I've just declined the request.
All still seems in order...

Thanks for your help, and pass my thanks on to Andy too.

I'll crack on and start pruning some of the deadwood....
