When I try to upload a custom forum avatar that meets the size requirements (100x100, 2.9KB, jpg) and then attemp to save my profile prefs I get this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function gd_info() in /home/boinc/cpdnboinc/html/inc/image.inc on line 23

I don't think that's worked since Oxford's IT section tightened up the security last year.
(Which was when "Lost password" stopped working, because the project wasn't allowed to use email addresses outside of Oxford Uni.
It took a long time to get permission to do this again.)

That is unfortunate. I love seeing my "Hello Cthulhu" avatar above my name.

I'm sorry, but in my humble opinion, it will be a very good idea to create something like a push service (notification, hint via mail or anything similar...), which could alert the boinc users if some new workunits were released. Sorry for my plain english, I'm not a native speaker.
