Imac - High Sierra Bit of a strange one here. Had to do some maintenance, so suspended Tasks and Project followed up by backup. Eventually recovered from backup and went to restart BOINC. Resumed Project - no problem - but for the tasks the Suspend/Resume button showed 'Suspend' even though the tasks were Suspended. Aah, how do I copy/paste a screenshot to a message? Is it possible? |

Resumed Project - no problem - but for the tasks the Suspend/Resume button showed 'Suspend' even though the tasks were Suspended. No idea how to do screenshot on Mac but your description seems clear enough to me. What happens when you click on the Suspend button? Is it possible that in the manager you clicked on Activity>Suspend instead of suspending individual tasks? Never having seen BOINC on a Mac, I am assuming that like in Windows and Linux versions you can suspend a task individually, suspend the project and suspend activity. |

The copy function is the same on a Mac as on other OS: it's in the Event log, on the bottom line at the right. And the Suspend will depend on which one you're talking about: in Projects, or in Tasks. |

Thanks Les - forgot I'd changed the activity. |

This is why I would have liked to copy the screenshots into a message. Which is what I said in my previous post. Doesn't your Event log have the copy buttons on the right hand end of the bottom border? |

Hi Les, apologies for the confusion, I don't know why I'd suspended the Activity having suspended the tasks - something of an oversight. Re copying - yes, the event log has a copy button at the bottom of the log but only for copying event messages - as far as I can see - not external data or files. |

not external data or files. Yes, it doesn't do that. In that case my apologies. I've misunderstood what you're trying to do. |

Thanks for your reply Dave, yup, I'd suspended activity as well - for some (now) unknown reason. |
