Can anyone tell me why I can't get wu's last one was 9/2019! I was offline in 2020 as I wasn't getting any wu's I came back online Jan 2021 and still not getting any wu's. "All man born has a right to life and no man born has the right to take that life" |

The project is only Linux these days. And it ran out of work 2 days ago. |

To add to what Les posted, there are various posts about using WSL to run Linux tasks. There are also posts about how to run Mac tasks on both Linux and Windows. (For some obscure reason, I haven't been able to get the Mac ones to work on my Linux box though several have.) There are some Windows tasks in the pipeline but blink and you will miss them as there are more Windows machines waiting for work than the likely number of tasks and given that many machines these days grab upwards of 16 tasks at a go.... Worth making sure you have a backup project or two if you want to crunch all the time as work here is intermittent, often/mostly linked to PhD projects from universities around the world. |
