Hi just found this peach of an entry in the message box! anyone any ideas why this may have happened? - climateprediction.net - 2004-09-26 16:18:36 - Unrecoverable error for result 01wp_000027458_0 ( - exit code -1073741819 (0xc0000005)) - climateprediction.net - 2004-09-26 16:18:36 - Computation for result 01wp_000027458 finished Then this:- - SETI@home - 2004-09-26 16:18:39 - Unrecoverable error for result 06my04aa.15945.12674.254826.107_1 ( - exit code -1073741515 (0xc0000135)) This WU was the one of the one's that would not upload upon completion ihave followed the email and changed the state xml file and i had updated to the 4.09 client and had no probs. i'm running cpdn on 80% + seti on 20% so far BONIC has just downloaded new files and seems to be crunching away nicely |

yeah it sucks that happened on my cpdn to two consecutive WU's.(about 15% and 1% respectively) My first one was one of the ones that needed to be changed too, but not my second one. Nothing you can do now though. Just hope it doesn't happen to your current one |

Don't know about the S@H error code, but to have both projects bombing out suggests BOINC, OS or hardware as the explanation. One of the drawbacks of the relative stability of XP, compared to its predecessors, is that you won't necessarily know when something goes wrong. I'd suggest an upgrade to BOINC 4.13 as it is reckoned to be more stable. |

This has some associated problems however. CPDN seems to be most likely to fail at a restart. It is sugested that you exit BOINC manually beforehand to reduce the chance of it failing.
