Now its all OK, everything is working just fine and I did nothing . But if somone can explain why it would be nice. Oxford IT dept were doing some work moving VM's around. Once they had finished, Andy probably had some tidying up to do to make sure the request went to the right internal IP address. Till batches 1002, 3 and 4 are re-released there probably won't be more work for Windows. (There isn't work for any platform apart from the odd resends at the moment.) |

Computer has lost connection with climateprediction.net and this site is marked as unsave and not accessible from any computer at the moment. However they have an new site cpdn.org where i can get access to my account ; the question is how to transfer my finished workunits to the new site which isn't integrated in the Boinc software yet. It seams to be the same problem as in februari this year. HJB. ID:740942 |

It is not the same problem as the February one. The project administrators have been doing a lot of work on the servers and, as part of that work have changed a lot of the URLs to be of the "new" cpdn.org root instead of the "old" climateprediction.net root. The bottom line is that the project name 'climateprediction.net' was changed at Berkeley when it shouldn't have been. Only the IP address associated with that name should have been changed. Somewhere there was a miscommunication between Oxford & Berkeley. The URL has changed to main.cpdn.org at Oxford but this should have been just a local change. Best advice is to wait whilst they investigate & hopefully return to the previous setup. --- CPDN Visiting Scientist |

The CPDN server is currently down whilst they investigate some networking problems. The task result zip files can be still uploaded but trickles can't and tasks can't report completion at the moment. There will be an update when it's all back. --- CPDN Visiting Scientist |
