The Win 98/AMD combination was said to be pretty flakey in the classic version as well.

A few people have managed to complete a run with processors well below the 800 MHz recommended minimum spec. But they are very much the exception.

At least the Win 98/AMD combination isn't fatal for CPDN!

Hi Andrew. I think that the 320 runs at 2.4 GHz. It's the new Intel model numbering scheme.

AMD XP 2500+ spec' 11x167 for 1.83GHz running at 12.5x180 for 2.25GHz watercooled, <a href="http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/show_host_detail.php?hostid=65740">'Marion'</a>, is running CP-boinc under WinME - she has completed two models and is 10% through her 3rd model running CP-boinc. BOINC v4.13 plus CP v4.04 works for her... :-)

Thanks. Should have checked. Intel periodically invite me to visit their website but I'm afraid I'm usually seduced by the latest top of the range models which I can't afford and can't justify getting.
