I\'m currently running v.4.05 . I\'ve downloaded the 4.09 exec file, but haven\'t installed it yet. When I run this, am I going to lose all the data that my machine has crunched, or will it start where it left off? I really don\'t want to lose the 228 hrs that\'s gone in to this w.u. already. Thanks! |

You should be fine. For safety's sake backup the BOINC folder first, after suspending and closing BOINC. You should find that the WU picks up where it left off when you restart. |

Once I launched BOINC, it would lock up on me, and then "Not Responding" pops up. I uninstalled and re-installed three times, and this happened every time. I'm going to let this file complete under 4.05 (half way there -- only 265 hrs to go!) before I try to install 4.09 again. Thanks! |

Note that if you are running S@H as well, you will no longer get work if you are running 4.05. <a href="http://www.boinc.dk/index.php?page=user_statistics&project=cpdn&userid=355"><img border="0" height="80" src="http://355.cpdn.sig.boinc.dk?188"></a> |

Got a new work unit and SETI has started running as well. Yeah!! |
